    Apple II mousecard!

Right, it's not the most amazing conquest of all, but well it took ages to get here from the US!! I've been trying GEOS on my apple IIe and using my mac plus mouse. Was the mouse bundled with the mousecard exactly the same as the original macintosh mouse?

    Developing for Lisa

That's a good question! I have absolutely no idea, but i suppose you would have to use 68000 assembler or pascal, which is what the developers originally used.

Classic II died last nite ... this sucks :(

You should replace the capacitors. At the very worse you loose some pennies.... You should be able to get at torx t15 on ebay if you can't find it on a local store.e

    apple ii assembler resources

Hello again, So far i've read Randy Hyde's book (very useful) as well as the introduction to the 6502 in the obelisk.demon.co.uk. I've looked at the beginners' assembly book but didn't find it that useful (at least not after reading randell's book). I find myself now with the knowledge of...

Hi again, which kind of information would you like me to provide? I have already tried the monitor program (call -151), i don't have the mini assembler (the one with the ! prompt) since my IIe is not ehanced. Mainly what I want in the future is to program some nice little games. Also I would...

    apple ii assembler resources

erhm, well, since i am learning at the moment, speed is not much of an issue. I would me more interested in using the real thing if possible. I will check cc65 however. On the apple ii itself then, which assembler should I use? I don't quite understand why one assembler can't assemble the...

    apple ii assembler resources

thanks for the info. I've found that book and it seems a bit useful. Perhaps i will have to buy some printed book from amazon eventually. Another problem: which assembler to use?! the text recommends Lisa, which is freely avaialble. However I've also found S-C assembler available, as well as...

    apple ii assembler resources

Hi, I'm trying to learn 6502 assembler programming for the apple iie, but I'm having a hard time finding documentation. I've found some 80s tutorials in text format but they're far from useful. Can anybody point me to the right direction? Cheers, Nahuel

    apple iie programs

During the past few days I have found quite a bit of information about applesoft basic (thanks for the help). It has been fun, however I'm more interested in programming in assembler. The problem here is that the documentation is not as extensive as it is in the case of basic. I found a bit in...

    apple iie programs

Hi, I don't mind using old programs, sorry if I gave the wrong idea. I was wondering which classic software (i've seen tons in asimov and other websites) is worth using. So please recommend me games! On the monitor side, I'm using an amiga monitor with composite video in. Programming seems...

    apple iie programs

As said before on a previous thread, a recently acquired an apple iie. I've been playing around with it during the last couple of days. The only minor problem is that the last time i used an apple II I was 5 years old. That means, that I can only remember some games from that era. I've...

Mac Plus and using a zip drive as a hard drive

Actually to boot the plus with the zip drive you don't even need the zip drive driver. It wil recognise it as just any other SCSI device. I use my mac plus with zip drive as HD constantly and it works great!

    apple ii monitors, video out

I've never seen composite to vga adapters. However, I've seen Scart to VGA, and composite to SCart. My question is: By hooking up both adapters, could I use my VGA monitor with the apple II? Or hooking both adaptors together won't work?

    Vintage Telnet Server?

It would also be cool if you could provide BBS service as a telnet service on the internet. I suppose that if you get an SCSI to Ethernet card you could hook your mac plus online and offer your BBS service to any mac that's connected to the internet! Should work quicker and better than over the...
