    My SE/30 had also a exploded battery. Believe me, I'm a technician, and it is practically impossible to fix te board. Luckily I found a new SE/30 for €20,-, so that problem is already solved :beige: EDIT : I forgot to say that it is practically impossible to remove all of the battery-acid...

    After checking all traces, I can concluce that the board is dead. The Acid probably affected the traces inside the board, which is almost impossible to fix, so I'm looking for a new board.

    Yeah, it's the black thingy above C12 and right from the battery. Y1 itself didn't explode, but some acid from the exploded battery bited into the legs, and so the part came apart from the logicboard.

    Hi everybody, my SE/30's battery exploded, and so did C12 (capacitor) and Y1 (I think a transistor). I've got a replacement for C12, but not for Y1. My question : with what could I replace Y1 ? I don't know the value. Many thanks !
