I agree with just.in.time the 5xx series including the TV will most like shatter into pieces.

I have recapped one LC638CD and a 6500 board that had issues booting but up till now its rare.  As for 6100's those puppies bleed like the 660 and 840's.

Virtual memory and Ram doubler are basically the same thing.  If virtual memory is already there I would not install ram doubler.  Its adding an extention, just bloat imo.  Speed Doubler didnt seem to actually do anything noteworthy.  It didnt actually speed up the computer.

there are no good pds cards, best upgrade is a 6360 motherboard, faster bus, faster processor.

those cap cans leak, at some point soon all the performas will need new caps,  i would suggest a wash and dry then try and see if there is any change.  

resolution settings that are not suggested for the main screen can be applied and cause this.  Try setting to a different resolution.

looks like you need to clean more from the start and use more flux.  Just a suggestion.  When I am just trying to get boards to work I take shortcuts, but as you can see it never turns out very well.

9600 likes a battery, try booting holding the c key with a boot disk in.  The G3 beiges and 9xxx that I have seem quirky that way.

Ive fixed quite a few aircooled with replacement processors and baking the motherboards, but all i have ever seen had issues that needed repair before they worked well. LCS seems just to make things worse.

your lucky, yet to see any G5 without an issue.

I picked this up for nothing thinking it was air-cooled, so far even then every G5 I have had has needed a new motherboard due to ram slots or new processors, so far a full life on needing processors isnt that off the mark to the air cooled units.  

i think cd's are in iso format so taost for pc or mac will work just fine.

the processor fell apart from the corrosion.  Nothing worth taking a picture of.  Looks just like a maxell battery explosion but green.  The O rings looked intact but green and white covered the lower processor around the heat sink and it ate every pad.  Nothing to save procesor wise.  It didnt...

Well the processors fell apart when dried so the whole setup was toast, but for 28 dollars on ebay i ordered a working replacement supposedly.  We shall see.  Ill still rebuild this cooling setup just in case.  Not to find an AHT disc, I think I have one somewhere for the G5.

i looked online and the single pump is green coolant.  the damage to one of the cpus rotted a whole side off.  pretty sure its toast.  the main cpu didnt have corrosion it was just gooey.  i cleaned it.  the other one everything the coolant touched fell off the cpu.

Ok got a powermac G5, unknown to me its an LCS 2.5 that wont boot.  It has leaked onto the cpus, i cleaned them and am letting them it until i clean, replace o rings, and refill.    Should I even try or are once the cpus leaked on are they garbage?
