jet dry will cause no issue as its made to run off clean also. I dont use but a drop of detergent and wash it alone when I do it on bottom rack. Need as much heat and pressure and vertical to get that goo freed up and run off.
the motherboards need no change. the 550 and cc motherboards are interchangeable as the 550 motherboard is also the color classic II motherboard. Macintosh TV motherboards are weird, did you wash the whole board ? When I had my macintosh TV the motherboard needed alot of cleaning.
power on. power off fast then on again. Its the same thing you do with the 6100 series with no battery. Not technically sure why it works but it does, either that or put a good batery in, but with danger of leakage and cost I do not put batteries in them.
If the games you use dont use any virtual memory the 128 sticks wont change anything, if you do then yes it would. Performance will go up if the game writes to the hard drive less.

Beige G3's like good pram batteries and have boot issues without.

If you can leave files compressed on the zip and uncompress on the destination mac as disk copy and other utilities will repair the resource forks on decompression.
I get files off my 2015 imac using a windows formated zip, put it in a color classic with external zip and use stuffit expander...
you need a 10 base T for sure. Ill look at mine in it settings as you need to manually setup the IP in ethernet. Again Open Transport 1.3.1 is a must for sure.
i must have a copy somewhere as i have it on my plus'es HD20 (floppy port version) and did not have another mac when i did it years ago. Ill look, may take a while.
I have had to recap 3 660's all with leaky caps. They seem to share the same time frame as the 840av which all need recap also. Lucking for the 660 the board is flat and the goo stays directly under the caps usually.
