yeah, they are fun. I found a whole bunch of Apple III diagnostics disks (copies). So I called the guy who gave them to me, and he said he has two in storage in Wisnosin that I can have!!!
Well, after my last FreeCycle debacle, I found someone who was giving away some old 5.25" floppy disks. I called him up, and he delivered them to my door! He gave me a case for them and there were atleast 100 in the box. There was also a drive head cleaner!!
Well ok, I finally have aquired a IIc plus (its on its way here). So I was wondering, how far fetch'd is it to build a portable IIc? Is the mobo very big? I was thinking maybe I could mod it into an older non functional PowerBook.

Wow, that's really cool! Nice find. You might be able to try ethernet, but I'm not sure. There was a guy running a Lisa web server, but he was using MacWorks, which really takes the fun out of the Lisa IMHO.
Coudl anyone write a simple Hello World app for the Lisa 2? I dont own one, but I would just like to see it run something other than the office system as I never have
