Extensions installed yesterday, verified I installed them all. The info menu in PS works for each RO filter. If I try to use any RO labeled filter on an image, PS crashes with an error of Type 1. I am using PS 3.0.4.

That's the one! I keep getting mixed up with the names. Have a Radius PhotoEngine, then theres such thing as a PhotoBooster, then this, etc. So thats normal for it not to show up? I installed those drivers and Photoshop crashes when using a filter.

I have a NUBUS Raster Ops Photobooster or something like that image accelerator for Photoshop. Got it for cheap on ebay. Guy sent it in bubblewrap... said no problems ever shipping that way (I know....). Bought it untested. Put it in my IIfx, and TattleTech does not detect it. Reseating it...

Just wondering, are you using the correct original charger that has been tested to be good AND a brand new good battery? Without those two things, you wont get very far.

Bad power supply? Has it ever been recapped? If you have a lot of cards in there, it could be stressing the 30 year old psu. I just got mine recapped and it's been rock solid on for hours at a time with 5 power demanding cards. That's assuming the two electrolytic caps near the power on circuit...

I thought there was something about this, but I can't seem to find it. System 7.1.1 P on my IIfx shows Macintosh IIfx with a picture, but 7.5.3 just says Macintosh with the generic picture. Is there any way to get the IIfx back? Why did Apple switch?

That's definitely the reason why its weaker. I know 3D flexible filament is made, but not sure a flexible resin is made. That would make it an exact clone. Guess I'll swap in that spare motor when I can in the next day or two.

Incase anyone else encounters this issue where the Quadra stays off when first plugged in but when shutting it off it restarts, a recap fixed it.

It was indeed the power supply. Problem solved.

On my IIfx, I rebuilt both floppy drives, lubed and cleaned them, and made sure to install new gears that have the nub at around 11 oclock position. One floppy drive works fine data wise, but it sounds like it struggles to eject, even with the new gear. The other drive seems dead half the time...

Also check the area around the actual bare LCD panel, the part where the cables and connectors connect the LCD to the surrounding PCB. Cap goo likes to get in there and make a mess.
