I don't have time just this second to complete the rest of the page, but its uploaded at least. DiskCopy 6 image stuffed with Stuffit on OS 9.2.2. Maybe someone would be kind enough to try it out to make sure it is a good image?

Got the drive today. Currently backing up as a DiskCopy 6 read only image on my TiBook with 9.2.2. just in case. Will that be okay for archiving? If not, does anyone have any other ways they would like it saved? If its with DD on a newer Mac, I would just need step by step instructions, as I...
I know for the IIfx, its at the top left of the board, right after the number (model number maybe?). Either A, B, or there's some really early ones I think with numbers?
Officially, for instance, the IIfx tops out at 7.6.1. It will be interesting to see if it will boot with 7.7. Of course, as you said, the later PPC and 040s should run it fine, but the 030s are what I am interested in to see what happens. I'm guessing it wont run, but we will see.
Ok, thank you. So I will plan on using the Ti for the task then. I will provide updates when it arrives. I wonder if 7.7 would still be technically considered MacOS 7 still and run on Macs than only went up to 7.6, or if it will be considered 8?
It looks like I may be the one honored to image/backup the prototype 6360 IDE drive spoken about in the other thread running System/Mac OS 7.7. I have an external USB IDE enclosure I am planning to use for the task.
How would people like this drive imaged? I have not done older Mac drive...
I have an external IDE drive enclosure if you'd like me to image it, or a G3 available. But probably try the target disk mode suggestion first.
Ive never even came across anything about a system 7.7! Got to save that drive! That would have to mean a 7.7 installer is floating around too...
I can answer 1. From my experience and time being here, it has always thought to have been moisture because putting the screen in some rice or baking/drying it has fixed it (maybe temporarily).
Agree with the above. If you don't have a computer and have no interest in doing anything with old Macs, probably easier to send it to someone on here that knows what they are doing.
That was the key -- I was putting the new pref file in the general PS folder. It needed to be with the plug ins. I can now happily say the card is working!
Turns out it only works with PS 2.0.x, not 2.5.x or later (I will now doublecheck by putting a pref file in plugins though). At least, not...
Deleted it and I think it created a new one, though I can't find it. Still no change. This is using the second download here: https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/photoshop-201
I deleted it but did not create a new one. I'll try that. Thanks so much for helping, I don't mean to sound needy or anything, but I know you're good with this stuff.
Thank you for the confirmation. So any other ideas on things I can try to get PhotoShop to work with it? It doesn't seem to be an extension/plugin issue, as I have tried it by itself in the PS folder.
Also, here's a photo. Looks the same as yours but has some patch wires. Maybe earlier production?
Heres what I just tried:
- Removed Radius card and left RasterOps installed to see if it was not getting enough power. RESULT: No change.
- Reinstalled Radius card, removed RasterOps. Booted. RESULT: Plug icon crossed out.
- Reinstalled RasterOps card. Booted. RESULT: Plug icon not crossed out...
Tried PhotoShop 2.5. Crashes the same way. Tried with 7.1. Also crashes. Always says error type 1 occurred. I can try removing other cards, but I don't think that will change anything.
