Yes, it is Wifi.
I don't have Ping and I only have one router, but all of the other computers in the house seem to work fine.
Perhaps the network is too busy?
Well, my iMac G5 has had internet problems, but it didn't happen as often as it does now. In the past when I first bought my iMac, the internet would only fail once every 20 or so times, but restarting the computer would fix the problem. Now, even when I restart the computer and Safari, I still...
I got it to work. The HD cable came loose during travel. No biggie.
I still need to get an OS on it though. I picked a language and then read the terms and agreed to them, but when it asks me to pick a place to save the OS on to, the HD doesn't show.
I think I just have the wrong type of OS...
Well, I am trying to get my Powerbook Lombard working, but I am not having any luck. Yesterday, it was working just fine, except the computer couldn't recognize the 4 GB HD that was inside. But today, the thing will not hardly do anything. I put a CD inside (Which was in the DVD Drive when I...
Friday: A Power Mac 6500/250 with an Apple Multiple Scan 15AV Display. When I powered it on, I was surprised to find out that it had a Sonnet Crescendo G3 upgrade (Which makes it 300 MHz). It also has 128 mb of Ram (Max) and 3 (Count em'!) Internal Hard Drives. Also included was two video...
Thanks for the info guys.
A few more things:
What do I press to get programming (10, 20, 30, etc)?
What is the code to access a disk from each drive?
*Insert anything else that a first time Apple II user should know here*
I know that on many (If not all) laptops that have a VGA out port have a button (Usually on the keyboard, mine is F1) that you need to press to make the LCD display to an external video device.
Have you tried this?
@notcrazy_iminsane: Well, if I get an eMac, I would really like to get a 1.42 GHz model and then max it out and run Leopard. But since a 700 MHz model can't even run Tiger, I don't really want it (Which is OK because he decided to give it to his niece). I do agree that $200 is way too much for a...
You *may* get it to work for a while, but you would need to replace all of the bad capacitors (I would suggest all of them), any chips that have been corroded, anything that is missing and you would really need to get the rest of the rust off (I would suggest doing that with an eraser). And even...
Of the four iMac G3s that I bought, 2 of them do not work. The first broken one (A BB model) doesn't power on at all. The second one (Blue Berry) powers on but usually doesn't do anything beyond that (No startup noise, no logo on the screen, nothing.) I got it to work once, but after about 15...
I am facing an issue with my Apple IIes and Disk II Drives. When I connect two drives to the Disk II card, the first one powers up but the second one doesn't. I have switched the Drives so that the Second Disk Drive is in the first socket and the First Disk Drive is in the second Socket. The...
