that is another one of my concerns. is there any way to install a fan on the psu? if so where? i know the side gets hot after the machine has been running for a while, but is there a specific component causing this that needs cooling? -ct

yes, i have to use the control panel to dim the screen. it's a Macintosh Classic I. yes, it has a fan, but it doesn't come in contact with the processor itself. instead, it's placed in the bottom below the Logic board.
