Ahh. I have a single 1.8 I thought only the quads used the heavy duty cord. I wouldn't pass the opportunity to get a free mac if it was only missing a power cord. Then again the power supply was probably shot in that iMac G5.

I've never bought a standard IEC power cord, they kinda just gravitate towards me.  Most mac desktops use a standard cord, minus the G5 Quad, and iMac G4.

I am very interested at possibly remaking the leafs. I wonder how hard it would be to get a production batch of 500 leafs. Most of my iBooks are missing the leafs and most collectors want a leaf. Double sided tape is more than adequate especially if you you some strong tape. Don't use any type of super glue as there is a hole behind the apple and glue might seep into the display assembly.

I like to use Tire Shine on older closed plastics (iMacs, iBooks, etc.) It adds a shiny finish and hides the blemishes.
