    Another SCSI Question,

    Well the 80 pin drive I bought is not compatible. But I think I may have another option. A friend has a bunch of old 68pin SCSI stuff, in it is a IDC 50pin male to 68pin male adapter, a four device 68pin internal SCSI cable with terminator, and a 4.5GB HDD.  He was using the adapter for a old 50...

    pics of the q700

    Finally got pictures taken of q700. The only problem three keys broke off in shipping, works great. Havent decided on a os yet. Waiting on upgrades to get here before I make a choice. With the ppc upgrade I ight try the instructions on hacking 8.6 & 9.0.4 to run just for fun. Anyone tried...

    Looking at this Hard Drive, I think this driver will work not sure supports SE Mode

    I am looking at picking up one of these drives along with a 80pin to 50 pin adapter for the Q700. I pulled the docs for the drive, it states there is a jumper setting on the drive to force it into Single Ended Mode. From reading this means it should work in my mac correct?
