I’ve only got the board unfortunately.

Possibly a prototype Power Mac 4400

Purchased this recently and it’s winging its way to me. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-PowerPC-Macintosh-Mac-4400-200-Computer-M3959-w-Keyboard-and-Mouse-/125023269582 Initially it looks like an overpriced for untested 4400, but a closer look at the photos and the sellers description of...

    Lobos board (Strange Apple ROM)

I don't have a suitable PSU for the board at the moment - could try it if that would be something to try - I have a VGA display adapter so can connect a display up.

    Lobos board (Strange Apple ROM)

Online from eBay last year - they didn't have anything else interesting in stock at the time (or recently sold): https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_dmd=2&iconV2Request=true&_ssn=blairdus&store_cat=4275809011&store_name=macmemoriesstore&_oac=1

    Lobos board (Strange Apple ROM)

I recently picked this 1 MB ROM peculiarity up - 4x 2 Mb flash ROMs... anyone know either what this is (other than a 1992 ROM SIMM :-), or an official rominator... ) or an easy/inexpensive way to dump this to find out whats on it? I've not seen a "Lobos Board" before. The only period Mac I have...

Apple's magneto-optical drive and miniature CD-ROM drive - The PowerBook 5300 accessories that never were. Or were they?

Missed this thread, but found it when replying to Reddit. One of the 3.5" CD-ROM drives actually came up on eBay in December. Auction is long gone (and was $1600), but there's a pic here on a French blog

    Pre-production Macintosh Color Classic

Cool find! Your logic board is an older revision (820-0367-02) to the final one too.

    IIgs Prototype

Also just noticed that the VGC is part # 343S0046-1 - The ROM-0 IIgs VGC is apparently 344S0046-1

    IIgs Prototype

Thanks! Having a look at the dates on the chips (shame the board doesn't have one) - the RAM chips on mine are dated 8530 (Vegas: 8531), the sound GLU 8605 (V: 8605), U1P 8604 (V: 8610) and the Ensoniq 5503 8543 (V: 8549). Those are slightly earlier manufacture dates which suggests to me that...

    IIgs Prototype

Could be an early one, however I had a look at macgeek - they have a gallery here http://www.macgeek.org/museum/appleiigsupgrade/page02.html Their board is labelled IIGS and has a proper part number under the keyboars. Also, another owner points out on vcfed, the 344S0046 is socketed on the...

    IIgs Prototype

Don't know yet and prob won't for a little while as I don't have the correct iigs accessories or a 240-110v adapter to test with. I think I have a compatible display, and also have local American friends. Don't think I will get to power it on until next week though.

    IIgs Prototype

I spotted a strange looking IIe with IIgs upgrade on eBay earlier this week and had to buy it. Here's the auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Apple-IIe-/182464335513 It arrived last night so I've added some pictures of the board to a gallery here:   Main differences so far - it is...

    WGS 9150 Zephyr "120 Mhz" EVT-1 Board

Yep, tri valley recycling - lots of interesting stuff online. I did get it on eBay but they took a nice low offer. I will very likely keep the board as is (poor soldering skills here and wouldn't dare!). I got several prototypes from recyclers and I have a couple of nearly complete systems that...

    WGS 9150 Zephyr "120 Mhz" EVT-1 Board

Hi, Sorry to say I didn't, I found it (online) at a recycler in Stockton, California and I don't think they knew what it was.

    WGS 9150 Zephyr "120 Mhz" EVT-1 Board

Found this up for grabs and now conquered - must be one of a kind. Nice probably never seen out side Apple circuit board art and reveals a new apple codename, I think!

MacBook Pro 17" 2.0 Core Duo DVT

I should add I'm happy to post a few pics if people are interested. I've only had time to put the speaker assemblies and I/O board into position so far and have run out of thermal paste so can snap a few pics next time I work on it.

MacBook Pro 17" 2.0 Core Duo DVT

Latest addition to my collection! Unfortunately purchased slightly too late from a recycler, the smashed screen, surround and drives had been disposed of but the (sold as working) rest of the system was all there... but fully dismantled. All looks the part though, boards are green with extra...

    Anyone know what this is?

Back after a few months, sorry, been rather busy. I think it's most likely an unpopulated internal testing board for iPods as I got it with a bunch of random iPod parts. Thanks for the guesses and interesting info!
