Any SCSI mac running a version of System/MacOS that is compatible with the existing driver, I'd imagine. Not sure about PowerPC, but it would probably work there, although there are frankly better options for networking on almost any PPC Macintosh.

Yes, we should verify this is correct. All you need to do is attach your scsi2sd, read the config with File...read from device, then SAVE THE XML FILE (screenshots are insufficient, as if there is corrupted string data, it may not be displayed properly by the GUI), and share that here.

When I said "video of your SCSI2SD" I meant _of the SCSI2SD_ not of your Mac/monitor. Apparently I wasn't clear enough. The fact that SCSIProbe sees the device means it's working, and you've got a configuration error of some sort.

..with what? I literally use SCSI2SD's with a variety of macs every single day. Would you mind stating, non-dogmatically, what it is you "hate" about the SCSI2SD? Only then can we sort out whatever issues you have been having.

I also found the TI REG710NA-2.7/250 which is a 2.7VDC out, 5V in, 30mA switching regulator, which is in the SOT-23-6 form factor, but it's about the same price as the LDO you're currently using.
