Why not just use a floppy?

The PowerBook G3 Series was one of the best macs they ever made. Powerful, great form factor, great keyboard and amazing screen. They work so much better with MacOS 9 than X though, as 1024x768 feels like loads of room in MacOS 9 but quite cramped in X

Yep this will work just fine. For pretty much any inkjet cartridge actually. Used to do it on my Canon A3 photo printer which took 8 (count em!) separate cartridges. Or was it 6. A lot anyway

Absolutely superb, one of my all-time favourite bits of Apple kit. As others have said, the blue-black is so beautiful and hints at a whole world of alternative Apple colourways that could have happened if they hadn't gone down the B&W route

Yes it does. And 1024x768 is a decent real estate for 9. God knows how I got it to install though... took many hours of messing around with OF and hours reading macos9lives.com. If asked to repeat it... I simply couldn't

They are great. I have 3. The 867 runs Mac OS 9 which really flies with that horsepower and an SSD

That is fantastic. Great work and the 16" display is such a nice piece of design. The only thing is I might have been tempted to put a really hi res panel in there, but I suppose 1024x768 is pretty high res for the classic mac OS!

One of the few macs I've never owned... the PowerBook Duo This one comes with a 040LC processor and an active matrix colour screen, and 28MB of RAM upgrade. Will be good for playing Hellcats if nothing else! Paid £150 on UK ebay

That maybe many things but a beauty it is not! :-) Can just imagine Jobs cancelling them with gusto when he came back. Or did clones end before that? They can be very useful macs though. My dad kept a UMAX desktop going for years as it was the only mac in the whole studio that could talk...

What's the newest OS X that a system 6/7 machine can see and share to? Is this all documented on the Applefool site?

Ok thanks. My powerpc might have to become the bridge machine then. Just a shame to have to fire up the G5 just to save files to the network share

Does anyone know of a good way to save work on a classic mac that would then somehow seamlessly end up in iCloud? I have macs of all vintages… not sure what the oldest mac that can use iCloud Drive is. Thinking maybe some kind of synchronising software onto my new mac, I used to use one called...
