Hi johnnya, I recapped the logic board with tantalum capacitors but the condition of the caps on the analog board + power supply is unknown as I swapped in a working unit a couple of years ago.
I have a lot of RAM installed and when I took half of it out, because I thought some had gone bad, it...
I am having multiple problems with my SE/30 at the moment, grey screens with no bong, sad Mac errors and simasimac screens but the one I want to fix first is when it boots successfully and then without warning makes a raspberry sound with an accompanying T shaped flash on screen and the...
Mmm! very interesting, but after trying different configurations of RAM in the eight slots of my SE/30 I came to the conclusion that some of it has gone bad, as it boots just fine without some sticks, so I've bought some more and I'm waiting for them to arrive as I just don't want to lose this Mac.
I am having a sad Macs error relating to ram and some of the contact pads on the ram in my SE/30 are pitted or showing tiny signs of arcing, they are not gold but solder coloured so I wonder if I can re-tin them?

Hi Elfen,
I checked, when I boot into System 9.2.2 the mouse control panel (version 8.1.1) only allows me to alter the double click speed of the mouse, it doesn't allow me to enable double click on the trackpad under System 9.2.2, and I can't find anything related to the trackpad?
If I boot my Clamshell iBook in OSX and then start the Classic System 9.2.2 I retain the OSX setting to double click on the trackpad.
If I boot into System 9.2.2 I can't use double click on the trackpad because I can't find a control panel to let me set this function and I find the computer...
