Most scsi drives have a jumper for start up delay, if there is no jumper then the drive will not spin up until the drive is accessed. Open the drive and get the make & model of the drive then we can see what jumpers it has or doesn't

Johnny, Yup,You are right. Its the right hook spring and the reason it came off is the top of the hook which is plastic is broken, so there is nothing to hold the top of the spring. I don't think it will effect printing. Do you think I need to find a replacement?

The sprint is stiff. Its not for the cover, both are there and they are huge. This spring is like 2" long. Are the springs for the paper tray in the paper tray?

Hi Johnny, It looks like it may not be the power supply but the fuser. Measuring the thermistor you are supposed to get 1-2 MOhms, I get 1.2 Mohms. And the switch 1-3 ohms. I have a short on that connector so the fuser needs to be replaced. I think I will replace both the power supply and the...
