It was the whole big brick like the second one you show.
the first one might be the whole thing as well (bad camera angle) but the other is the whole assembly
I think you can recap it if you want to pull it apart, but I was lazy and just bought replacements for the LWIIs I refurbished.
Here's a couple of part numbers you can search for:

HP SX-ACPM-B
Once you get past that, then you start finding out which rollers need to be replaced :-)
There are 3D printable fences for the Radeon 7500 to go into the Cube. Not sure if there are other fences for any other cards, since I haven't needed to look...
You likely need a new "power block" (or repair the one you have). I just went through this with some LW IIs. Repair/replacement of this fixed the "flashing red LED" problem with mine.
The part is actually shared with HP Laserjet printers, which makes it vastly easier (and cheaper) to find than...
I assume you mean the one that plugs into J2? As far as I know, it should be OK. My card has a little card that plugs into that header. I'd have to see what pins (if any) it bridges together.
The Apple printer cable I think should have a little printer icon on it. The one with two opposing arrows I can't remember if that's straight serial or localtalk.

I have a couple of Lisa - one with original OS, and one with Macworks, and an organ donor.
I think Mac is a subjectively faster machine, since much of the low-level code is coming out of the ROM Toolboxes, vs everything needed to be loaded from disk for Lisa (or any other) OS.
