Awesome!!! Good luck!! I might have to copy your termination logic for the next rev of my board ;-)

Everyone is always hating on PHP!  ;-)  (I don't have any special fondness for it either. I just copied what ztto did for his RaSCSI interface, that was PHP) Now, if anyone hates on C#, that's another story..... <3 C#  [:D]

Glad to hear you got things working!! If you still have some of the ISOs that you couldn't get working available, would you able to share them? I'd love to dig in and debug them to see what's going on. (Disclaimer.... my "free time" is pretty zero right now. But someday... :-/  )

The SCSI2SD and MacSD devices are pretty close to instant-on. Its really only an issue if you have another bootable drive and you want to boot from the RaSCSI. If the selected boot device isn't present when the Mac scans the SCSI bus, it will pick another bootable device. (This has been my...

Thanks!!! Its been a fun project to work on! I've had no problems at all with the hard drive functionality. It seems rock solid. For the CD-ROM, as long as you used the patched extension (driver), it works fine as well. IMO the main limitation right now is the boot time of the Pi. So, if you...

That is awesome!!! such a cute little guy :-) Something you might consider on the next version would be to make it the exact same size as a Pi Zero so that you can mount it directly on top of (or under) a Pi Zero. I'm excited to hear how it works!!

SCSI to Ethernet Adapter on New Hardware

Thank you for your help, @saybur! I did notice I had some of the resistors installed sideways, but fixing those didn't seem to help. More troubleshooting tomorrow night!

SCSI to Ethernet Adapter on New Hardware

Thanks for the update @saybur, I just tried a 300w, 5v power supply with the same result. I'm questioning whether its really a brown out. But, I'll still give the new firmware a try in the morning. What do you use to monitor the console output? I'm using TeraTerm, but it looks like some of the...

SCSI to Ethernet Adapter on New Hardware

I built with the default options (just "make all"). It appears debugging is on by default, so I do have debugging on. I did built with the latest version. I forked your repo so that I could make updates to the README with some instruction updates. But my fork is up to date with your repo. Is...

SCSI to Ethernet Adapter on New Hardware

@saybur - Is there any additional setup that I need to do to make scuznet work? I've programmed the firmware with my brand new AVR-ISP-MK2. When I connect it up to my SE/30, the Nuvolink driver detects that it is there (it doesn't complain that the device is missing at startup). The Nuvolink...

I'll have an extra fully assembled board and ~3 spare PCBs once this is done. Once I get it working, let's talk!

    RaSCSI Development Thread

A couple comments about a post that @Byte Knight made in the MacSD thread....  If you don't have any other bootable drives installed, the Mac will wait for RaSCSI to boot up. So, you might see a flashing question mark for 10-20 seconds. But, the Mac should boot once RaSCSI starts up. RaSCSI...
