I've tried two different ones, neither is better than the other.  As a test I removed the logic board and connected the two wires to the two connectors of the RCA pins on the board, just to make sure the connector itself wasn't tarnished or damaged. Same result. 

Can anyone help me diagnose this? I've also xposted it to applefritter.  In this linked photo you can see a rolling "interference" through the display. This only occurs when the //c is on, but not while just the Monitor //c is on. It does appear to be more shaky and will distort the text...

They should just release everything before 1999. Let us have official images of System .97.

Where did you get the MacIPGW server for vbox? I'd like to test that instead of relying on the built in one on the Etherwave that seems to be not working...

my farallon one is 12VDC @ 500mA

Mine will do this sometimes after being unplugged for a long time. Power cycle it after it's been red, should go green. On occasion mine will not go green until it receives serial data from the Mac. This could also be why mine is so picky, so YMMV

It's a possibility... Though I distinctly remember it able to FTP files with my desktop PC before I wiped my HD to try Sys7. So it did work under Sys6, albeit a bit flaky. Fluke?

Also wanted to add that the status page of the router does show the interface linked at 10m half. So physical link appears to be working on both sides.
