The StarTech adapter works great in my G4 350 AGP (Sawtooth). Tried two different drives. It will only boot (OS 9 at least) off a < 128GB drive, but OS 9.2.2 recognized a 240GB drive as well when it was set to slave.
Drives:
Kingston 240GB SSDNOW V300
Patriot 120GB Burst Elite
StarTech works great in my PowerMac G4 350 AGP (Sawtooth). It can boot off a 120GB SSD. OS 9.2.2 can recognize over 128GB (240GB worked ok) but for a boot drive the boot ROM only recognizes less.
Drives:
Kingston 240GB SSDNOW V300 (won't boot but works from within OS 9.2.2)
Patriot 120GB Burst...

I assume not a Targa 1000 or Targa 2000 Pro? I am having trouble finding any Targa board with modules like that, other than an 8-bit ISA VMX which I assume has some sort of standard memory on it?
How about a Radius Thunder IV, anyone know how that differs from a SuperMac Thunder II? Performance?
Is there any source for GWorld modules today? Apparently Finder could use it for something.
Ah, that's what I came to this thread looking for. I had seen a few people state or imply the DSPs...
Anyone know if it is possible to just swap crystals to upgrade an IPA to GX performance? I'm not sure I would do so for fear of breaking a working card, but I am wondering if it is at least possible.
Coincidentally, are SuperVideo and IPA the only software you need for this? Does SuperVideo...
