Yeah, I just re-found 68kmla, I seem to forget about it.
I found one of these in my "bucket o' floppies." Verified boots a Duo 280c. It's a copyright 1994 disk in the "red and black writing" label style, with System 7.1 with PowerBook Duo Enabler 2.0 on it, and is labeled "Version 2.0" on...
Okay, what exactly are you trying?
What device are you loading the A2 Game Server on? (mobile phone, tablet, laptop, desktop)
What kind of cable do you have connected, and where to on the A2?
What command are you running on the A2, and when are you running it?
Even as late as the early Intel era, they still bundled software - my MacBook came with Big Bang Board Games and OmniOutliner: http://web.archive.org/web/20060822100721/http://www.apple.com/macbook/specs.html
I'd be willing to send you a Macintosh Display Card 8•24 in trade for that Portrait card. I don't have a Portrait Monitor, but it would be good to have the card for if/when I ever do get one. Plus I'm curious what would happen if I plug that in to my Sun monitor that has a 13W3 connector...
Should you decide to part with the 5.25 PC Drive card, I would be interested. I've had the Apple 5.25" PC Drive for a very long time, but I've never had either of the interface cards! (they made the NuBus card, and a PDS card for the SE.)
The first Apple II software I have ever paid for.......
(We had a DOS machine when I was a kid, I only ever used Apple II series at school before starting my collection.)
I thought there was even a way to get it up to 14 MB of RAM, but you had to use everything above 8 MB as a RAM Disk... Or am I remembering a different model?
Ignore Macdrone's mistake for a moment - Macdrone's mistake was using the wrong floppy drive for the machine.
If you have a computer made by Apple that has a floppy drive made by Apple that came with that computer, it can read and write Apple-format floppy disks of its rated capacity or lower...
I thought someone here posted about getting one a couple years ago...
Ah, yes.. Charlie and applefreak. (Waits for them to chime in...)
Here's a page that has a picture of one of their ads - yes, it slaps on to the side of the compact, and is basically a tiny IBM PC clone.
Huh, the Color Classic makes sense - it's not a 68000.
But the Plus should be able to run it. My SE and Classic could run even the earliest System/Finder just fine. You can't access a hard drive or 800K disks, but it boots just fine.
Give me a couple minutes...
Alright, really quick notes:
1. PowerBook G4 12", 867 MHz (officially supported by Leopard,) running 10.2.8. LeopardAssist has 'generic' icon. Loads, but cannot click "Continue" with the mouse. Using "enter" on the keyboard moves to next screen fine. But it...
Oh, man... I need an Apple II copy of Flight Simulator. I have every version that is labeled "Microsoft Flight Simulator" for DOS/Windows and Mac, but none of the very earliest Apple ones that were still labeled SubLOGIC or BAO...
I seem to recall someone either here or on MacRumors mentioning attempting to re-create the original 1984 Macintosh introduction demo. (The "It sure is great to get out of this bag" demo.) But for the life of me, I can't find it now.
Does anyone know about it - and did anyone successfully get...
