The proper term is “centrifugal fan” or “blower”, commonly used in ventilation systems.

I wonder if it’d work on 68k? If it’s for a ppc Mac, I’d use a pci usb card.  Would 68k even be able to format a Flash Drive? It doesn’t seem to be made to use USB to attach a SCSI device.

Here’s what I put in my G4 Mac mini. 

Well, I can start you (and anybody else reading this) off with..... When using a DMM, put the positive (red) lead on ground, and probe with the negative (black) at the chip, therefore your probe won’t try to power up the chip, or chips! O scope.....  yeah. Someone else chime in...

 The 7300, 7500, 7600, 8500, 8600, 9500 and 9600 all used the same processor slot with different processors on daughter cards. I’m not sure if they can all be swapped around, but they all had G3 upgrades for them, or G3 zif carriers, which you would be able to drop in a G3 zif you had, or bought.

So did you get it up and running? How’s your experience so far? Have you run into any problems /  quirks?

Have you tried to fire it up yet? Did I miss that part? I think it looks worse than it is.  I don’t know if you have tried “evaporust”, but it’ll do wonders for the frame. It a bit expensive, but reusable...

I think I’m going to start with the caps and see where the rails are at from there, and probe around to see what’s doing what.. Too bad I don’t have the parts here & now. I think I’ll double the order. 

Again, there’s no fact that a CRT will kill you.......  Thats until you or me become “statistic #1”  Be carful !!! Dont make truth the fact. 

It’s known that nobody ever died from a CRT shock. It might hurt like hell, but there is *NO* record of anybody dying from a CRT.
