    New Apple IIgs

For that kind of price I would definitely be interested in one. I like having the real hardware at the house but it would be nice to have a small, portable version to take along if I want to. Dean

    New Apple IIgs

How portable would this be? Could it be hooked up to a PSOne LCD? Also as Twilight Rodent asked what price are we talking about as far as "cheap"? I have a ROM 01 GS plus the motherboard for a ROM 03 but the idea of a portable GS sounds good if it could be done. Dean

    Favorite II game?

Project: Space Station Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord Bard's Tale Star Trek: Tactical Operations Simulator Elite F-15 Strike Eagle Just to name a few. Of course there are hundreds of others that I like as well. I think I prefer the Apple II/GS games to most stuff now. Dean

    Help Me!

Greetings, Here's something you can try if you haven't already done it. Open up the System folder and then open up the System.Setup folder. Look for two files, TS2 and TS3. Depending on what ROM version your GS is you can remove one of those files and free up the space you need. If you're...

    Floppies for IIgs?

Do you have a working GS system disk? If you do you can format the disks with that. If not do you have a copy of ADTPro to use to transfer images between your PC/Mac and the GS? If you have the latest copy of ADTPro, 1.0.2, it has an option to format the disk for you. If you need it you can...

Comrades, are you ready for the II uprising ...

Greetings, I started out, back in 1980 (the dark ages I know) with a (shudder) TRS-80 model I Level II 16k of memory and a tape drive. Quickly moved on to an Apple II+ with 48k, replaced that in 1985 with an Apple //e with 128k. Added an Apple //c with 640k in 1992. Replaced them all, and...

Does the GS/OS 6.0.1 require a hard drive?

The easiest way to find out how much RAM your GS has is to select "About this Apple IIGS" under the Apple menu in GS/OS 6.0.1, if you've got GS/OS up and running yet. Your next option is to turn on the GS and then press Control+Open Apple+Escape. That will bring up a page where you can enter...
