Very nice. The SE is one of my favorites as well. It will play almost all software from the 68K era and unlike the previous models it can hold a hard drive. Very nice use of the Zip drive. You may want to consider a Big Mess Of Wires SD card reader. They are very useful.

I think the best way is to use the Floppy Emu like a hard drive and just mount the hard disk image in an emulator on your Mac or PC to copy games. Else you need a bridge machine like an old PC with USB and a floppy drive would do.

Its slot loading you can't see it anyways, I am more worried about the plug being on the opposite end of the board.

Just get a FloppyEmu.  Network cards are rare and expensive for these things.

Just added this to my collection Macintosh LC 520     The 68030 is too slow to play Doom but it does run Master of Orion well enough.

Another question I have is around how to burn CDs such that they can be read by the LC 520.   I tried burning one on my Mac Book Pro but I keep getting a disk not initialized error on the LC 520.
