I've also had luck with using OptiMem with my Mac Plus to squeeze more available RAM out of my OS 7.5.5 install. It managed about ~200KB more than stock. For those with RAM upgrade challenged Macs, it's a good tool!

I'm out for most of the day, but once I get home I'll do another post about these beauties. The blue one (Blueberry or Indigo) apparently works, and the graphite has power button issues but is functional.

cvt is the sound file type used by ewk (the YouTube channel known for making the song Macintosh Plus play on a Macintosh Plus), which I can play on mine too. There's an app called Play Sound that seems to play these - I'll give more info soon about it.

Just wondering it it's possible to play an audio CD using the BlueSCSI's CD support? Perhaps there's a way to play full length sound files on a Plus? If anyone has knowledge on this topic I'd love to know it!

I believe it's 15,625Hz, which is what flyback transformers produce. I can hear up to ~18,000Hz. It's inconsistent though.

Hi, My SE is making this high pitched noise, and I think it's the flyback transformer. I believe they are supposed to make this noise, but I'm not sure it's normal.

Hi everyone, the fan in my SE is quite loud, and I am currently doing some fixups on it (recapping), and I was wondering what a suitable fan is for it. I have the Elina fan in mine. I'm not against soldering a new one in, although I'd prefer not to. Any ideas? Thanks, 68kPlus
