Mac Classic OS on a single board computer?

I compiled successfully Mini vMac, BasiliskII and SheepShaver on my Pi 3 and on the Pi Zero W (except SheepShaver) I put also 8.6 on my Pi 3, it isn't fast, but works!

Can I solder an RJ45 on my Macintosh LC PDS Ethernet card?

Reworking the card and adding the resistors isn't a problem for me, but I'm doubtful about the ROM... I think I'll put away this card...

Can I solder an RJ45 on my Macintosh LC PDS Ethernet card?

Yep, I think that the missing component it's a 10Base-T filter, I'll check somewhere for this component and if I'll find it I will give a try with this card

Can I solder an RJ45 on my Macintosh LC PDS Ethernet card?

Hi everybody! My Macintosh LC came with a PDS ethernet card, I want to solder an RJ45 female port on it in order to connect my Macintosh LC to my AppleTalk local network, can I solder it or should I put a capacitor on C13? I don't know if there are missing parts. Thank you.

Macintosh IIsi freezes on all Systems after 5 minutes

My re-capped Macintosh LC does the chime immediately, the IIsi still has this delay, but it isn't a problem for me

    LocalTalk

Yes, I think you can do this, I put my 6200 on ethernet on 2008 and I downloaded some software with Netscape

    LocalTalk

Yep, like that. However, you need this cable to attach the Macs through Printer port, then you start Sharing from a Mac and you connect with the Chooser to the Mac with file sharing enabled

    LocalTalk

Nope, the ADB cable is a 4 mini din, you have to search the cable I mentioned that was used also between Apple printers and Macs

    LocalTalk

If you have a serial/printer cable (mini male 8-din in both ends) you can share an HDD between your two Macs, it's a simple thing, but first provide for the cable I mentioned

Macintosh IIsi freezes on all Systems after 5 minutes

UPDATE 30/3/2018 Changed the two 220uF 16V Axial caps but the IIsi still takes a while before chiming, however, this doesn't affect system performances and it runs like a charm :)

    Powermac 8100 ATX PSU wiring

I'm thinking that your 8100 motherboard could be bad, check for cutted traces or corrosion or even recap it, has your motherboard surface electrolytics or SMD tantalum capacitors?

I did an ATX conversion on IIci, IIsi and Performa 6200 (this one with a Mini ITX PSU) and everything works correctly

    Powermac 8100 ATX PSU wiring

Are you sure that the ATX works correctly and have you wired correctly the PSU to the motherboard? Did the motherboard work?

Fish smell from my LC, my nose dies everytime I power it on

Why should an ATX damage my motherboard? I use ATX on Performa 6200, IIci and IIsi, they works perfectly

Fish smell from my LC, my nose dies everytime I power it on

Unfortunately I have a TDK PSU in my LC, I'll re-cap it but I'm going to use an ATX on the LC just for confirming that the smell comes from the TDK PSU

Fish smell from my LC, my nose dies everytime I power it on

I think the same thing, time ago I read about a guy saying that the ELNA caps on his SE/30 PSU caused this strong smell, I never had this problem with my Macs so I ask there to be sure about the source of the smell
