I tend to agree if this was a factory upgrade i would keep it as is, it was obviously upgraded as the 128 was pretty useless. Mind you if you want an original 128k for historic purposes so be it although the extra power under the hood wouldn’t go amiss even if externally its 128 through and through 

Might as well try and recap it, caps are cheap enough

Haha I really want the case too, if my wife gets a job soon then yes bring it on i’ll get one otherwise my money is just paying mortgage :(  we’ve only just relocated so not ideal timing. I do have a cd300i with caddy I’m thinking of selling and 1400 macbook. If that got me enough for the case...

Beyond my skills but do know a few people. I’m no expert but surely the code could just be adapted from the original code of the lc card as it isn’t going to be massively different? i work on sql and vba and generally can adapt code easily enough so sure some c programmer on here could do that...

Defo sounds like further investigation is needed.there are boffins and profect people up to the job. Not sure i can add anything know I’m a noob at this stuff

Hi Potato!  Someone should make i universal adapter for all pds machines, surely there are only 3-4 configurations???

There seem to be more LC PDS cards than LC’s on this planet!! How donyou end up with 2600 of them!!!!

Thanks everyone. I ordered a network loopback just before (gorbonos) got it working but I guess that’ll be useful at some point in the future anyway. Another bonus is a timely delivery of an external 2gb scsi hdd from eBay which should make for plenty of space for a SE/30 software. neal
