Hi everyone, I have a set of system 7.1 install disks which I used for my LC but I lost the "install disk". I have Fonts, Tidbits, Install 2, Install Me First, and Disk Tools. Im not familiar with legality of old Mac software, but if its allowed, does someone have an image for the install disk?

I won my first competitive ebay action by $2.50. It was for an ibook g3 tangerine and powerbook g4, it will be my 4th powerbook g4, they both come with power adapters but are assumed faulty/untested, not sure what im in for but I always wanted a clamshell. An early Christmas present for myself.

U2 fell off while swabbing with q-tip due to corrosion. C4 will be installed after the U2 chip is replaced with a new one, hopefully the chip arrives next week.

Update: So my aluminium polymer cap install went really well in the LC, just messed up on my LC475 with the tantalum because they were too big, I could use size C instead of D. I already had all the electrolytic caps for the classic ii so I decided to use them instead, ill install the last cap...

Replaced all the caps, forgot the 100uf 6v but I had one anyway, its an aluminium polymer cap. System chimes quite loud now. While it does boot into a floppy, the quantum pro drive probably doesn't work anymore, it was working last week. I will test the machine with a 40mb conner drive.

Good to know, I will probably have to get a new chassis including the rear plastic holding the LCD panel assembly as plastic exploded everywhere and the housing crumbled when I removed it. Also going to get a new LCD ribbon cable. All in good time.

The system is lifeless and does nothing at all when switched on with this supply, have to share my good astec one between my LC and LC475.
