3D Print Replica HD 20 SC Enclosure?

If it's just a single RJ45 that should be really easy.  I might be able to do it as well!

3D Print Replica HD 20 SC Enclosure?

Yea I tend to agree about the hard drives.  That would be so cool. Opening one to just swap the top case is unlikely to hurt the drive.  I have access to a copy of Rhino, which is what my father uses for laser modeling.  By port bezel, you mean the little piece of plastic that covers the card...

3D Print Replica HD 20 SC Enclosure?

I have access to a 40x28 laser cutter if things need to be laser cut.  75 watt CO2.  My Dad owns it and I would just need to buy supplies.

Tried upgrading my Auminum PB; now it won't start

Huh, I guess I must be lucky.  My 1.5 GHz Al PowerBook has other issues, but it does detect its full 1GB across 2 512 MB sticks of ram.  Interesting.

    3D Printing old PowerBook parts?

I don't know what you would make, but my father purchased a 40x28 laser machine.  It is 75 watt, so it can cut a lot of stuff.  I can use it if there was a requirement for laser cut stuff! Thanks

My quest to see video output

I have that same adapter and use 145 settings. However, I have a little MEC Multisync lcd which may be more flexible than a normal monitor.

Macintosh Color Classic No Sound After Recap

You need some of the multimeter probes that are meant for clipping to chip leads.

Macintosh Color Classic No Sound After Recap

That is a very bad idea.  Flyback would still energize and the possibility of shocking the crap out of yourself is rather high.

    Farallon EtherMac Adapter

Sorry, but quick question?  Why has this thread been hijacked for this?  Seems like this would be a better topic for the Compact or Peripherals section.  This thread wasn’t even about a scsi adapter.  It was about a LocalTalk to Ethernet adapter! Thanks, IlikeTech

Gluing or Welding broken plastic on apple computers/accessories

Okay, so I have this little bottle of stuff that is marked as an acrylic and ABS cement, and I was able to reassemble my totally shipping damaged Color classic and it holds to this day!  I think it is Dichloromethane, but I will confirm when I get home.

Dead LCIII+ and 12" Apple Monitor (suspect power surge)

Not gonna go into details here, but there were some rather unfortunate things that happened in relation to people not getting stuff back. Definitly connect to another monitor.

Dead LCIII+ and 12" Apple Monitor (suspect power surge)

Uni isn't availible for repairs anymore, so not sure what you are going to do.  You might want to take apart the monitor and see if the fuse is blown or anything looks burnt. As far as the machine goes, you might want to see what It looks like on another working monitor and see if it gives a...

    Farallon EtherMac Adapter

The adapter I have had a serial connector, not scsi.  It plugged into the LocalTalk printer port, and bridged AppleTalk over Ethernet to AppleTalk over LocalTalk.  Now, if configured corrrctly, this adapter will do the same.  It does need drivers, but should be much faster than what I have. Thanks
