I'm looking for the best card with OS9 accelleration as well as 10.4 for my 500 MHz Sawtooth.  I use a DVI monitor, and it would be best if the card could output 1920x1200.  What are my options?  Probably not going to play too many games, and I don't have a preference between ATI or nVidia. CRTs make good capacitors, and they will pick up charge from the atmosphere.  I would discharge it if you have to touch the analog board, if you don't, just leave well enough alone. Alex is correct in that they can build up charge.

Wow, its been forever since I posted anything here!  I got a PowerMac G4 AGP 500 MHz today, as well as a TiBook 867.  That TiBook is beat to hell, and one of the hinges is nearly broken.  It works, but the screen has a couple lines.  The G4 had a dead PSU, but one ATX swap later, it's working...

So I swapped the caps on the power board, and am still having the same issue.  The only one i didn't replace is that tiny electrolytic.  I guess I need to replace that one as well?  The symptoms are strange.  Is there any way to jumper the PMU board to power it on?  I wonder if there is because...

Hi, I was recently given a PowerBook 5300c.  I resoldered the power connector, but that didn't help.  The issue I'm having is that most of the time, when I plug it in, the sleep light comes on, and the power key does nothing.  I can't get it to boot.  I pulled the PRAM battery, but that didn't...

It broke in the same place mine did.  I was able to fix mine with abs cement, which is really a solvent.  It looks pretty decent.  Is that the only break? Those crappy packing jobs really do a number on the systems.  Hopefully it was insured?

Sounds good.  It's created by whatever formatting software you use.  The disk image I sent Evie is made with a Lido driver image, the one linked on the site.

I doubt that kit has a system on it.  It only adds an additional 32K of ROM!
