Just wanted to follow up on this, did someone verify that you could convert a 32Mb module to 64Mb? And would the 500 series recognize it, or would you need to do a few extra modifications? I have a 32Mb module with the 183Mhz 603 and it's running OS9 believe it or not!!

Could you do this for an SE/30 internal gray scale? I already have the Micron card, but it would be amazing to not have to use it!!

Wow. I have this EXACT same problem. If you open the case and manually connect power to the drive, you hear it spin up and it will boot, but for some reason, it stops spinning when you restart. What a pain. Will look for the delay jumper. Also using the 80 pin adapter with a 10k SCSI drive.

I picked up a used SE that was upgraded to an SE/30 and my sound was super quiet as well. It’s being recapped this month.

I have a used 3Mb board. I bought the MacEffects board early 2021. It gives the non backlit 9Mb and the backlit 8Mb.

Also, is there any difference between the TwinSpark vs the Mac Con with your topper installed?

Bolle, do your riser/topper cards still work even if there's no accelerator installed? I have the TwinSpark riser, and it doesn't work like you said unless there's one in there.

Found this system today!! Original owner from 1985, with working IIc, monochrome monitor with stand, Imagewriter II, and a bunch of software!! Pretty thrilled about it!

I've had the BlueSCSI go AWOL after restarting with the SE/30 and the Portable. No explanation whatsoever.

Portable and Mac Plus termination power is weird. The SCSI2SD has standard Molex, the BlueSCSI you’d need a Molex To Berg adapter to make up for it.
