SuperMac VideoSpigot - no video capture, just a blank blue screen

I uploaded the Extension to Classicmac.ddns.net >Uploads>SuperMac Video Spigot. This allows you to use it with other capturing apps such as Movie Player. Movie Player from Quicktime 1.6.1 available at Macintosh Garden. Hope this helps.

You can try putting SpigotVDIG extension in the Extensions Folder and using another capture app such as Movie Player. I've only had luck with SSW v 6.0.8

I've always thought the same. For years I always used Apple ROM'd drives only on vintage Macs. However, there may be diagnostic routines in the software on the drive that are incompatible. Aside from being able to format and install drivers, Drive utilities also run diagnostics that are built-in...

    Guide or recommendations for 8.0/8.1?

Yes, what used to dictate which OS was practical for which Mac really boiled down to how much hard disk space your Mac had and how much would be left over for programs and documents. Plus printing and fonts. When space on the HDD was limited like on an SE with a twenty mb hdd, MacOS system 7.5...

Which Macs support power on after AC restore or other remote power-on (and how to enable)?
