    Macintosh IIci Logicboard recreation

Board designs are all on github (well except form the IIci as it's untested currently and it looks like @Bolle hasn't posted the 475 yet) LC/LCII/LCIII/IIcx and Plus are on my Github: https://github.com/max234252 SE 30 (and proably eventually the 475) are on Bolle's...

    Macintosh IIci Logicboard recreation

Something I have been working on recently: It's a near 1:1 reproduction with some minor rerouting where this made sense. Boards are on order, should be here in a couple of weeks Not much more to say (other than thanks to @Kai Robinson for providing the donor board I used) you have all seen...

Who has a iMac G3 with either a Sonnet Harmoni processor upgrade and or a item that uses the Mezzanine slot?

I have considered making clones of the SCSI only iProRaid but figured there wouldn't be enough people interested, it's a pretty simple card and would be easy to clone. Also did about making a iMac SATA card but also figured the market would be too small for it to be worth it (plus there are...

    LCIII Repair

Could just be that the board was just fragile, but it could also be that not enough down pressure was applied to the cap when it was being twisted (not trying to criticise the way you did it, just noting it because not applying down pressure is a common mistake)

    2013 MacBookAir - MagSafe2 alternatives?

My only concern with those USB-C to magsafe adapters is what voltage are they requesting form the PD charger? Apple use either 14.5, 16.5 or 18.5V depending on the wattage of the brick, USB PD supports 15v which would be in the acceptable range but I suspect most adapters will ask the PD charger...

    1.33 GHz Mac Mini

I happen to have a 1.33Ghz mini sitting on my desk awaiting reassembly and can confirm R52 is not fitted As a odd aside this mini is badged as a 1.25Ghz unit but is actually a 1.33Ghz one, I wonder if this was a case of apple using old stock shells or of this had a in warranty MLB replacement...

    restoring a battery-bombed IIcx

There are also other cap options if your worried about derateing, Polymers have become a popular choice as they are solid so won't ever leak but look much like the original electrolytics, Ceramics are also another option that (as far as I know) don't need derateing. There is also the option of...

    restoring a battery-bombed IIcx

Yep, having D1 and D2 missing is normal, some boards have them and some don't Also whenever I see threads like this I always feel obliged to point people here: https://github.com/max234252/MacIIcx_Reloaded (though that board dosen't look that bad so should be fixable)

    Recreateing the Apple TechStep

Update time! First batch have all sold and a second batch of PCB's are in production The design has been changed slightly to stiffen up the units when assembled, the port pack and keypad are now one PCB with the LCD screwed into the centre of it, this also has the added advantage of getting rid...

LC II no chime, grey screen, some activity on the address and data bus

The LC / LCII use 27C010 EPROMS, they are pretty easy to program and are supported by pretty much all EPROM programmers. A cheap TL866 will do it just fine

    Sawtooth ATX PSU conversion

I was always under the impression that Yikes was released first as the Sawtooth hardware wasn't ready, could be wrong though

    Sawtooth ATX PSU conversion

Actually if I'm being a little bit pedantic Yikes is actually the first gen G4 (though it is essentially just a re cased B/W G3 with a G4 CPU card) But either way the Sawtooth doesn't have ADC support so no +28V rail is needed. I'm pretty sure the DA dose have ADC support which is where some...

Two Chip 16MB SIMMs that work in an SE/30 or IIcx

I'll have ti look at my SIMMS later to find the exact part number, what I can remember is the chips are next to impossible to find. I ended up getting some 64 & 128MB 2 pin simms form another member to pinch the chips from. I keep meaning to do a 16MB simm design with 16Mx1 chips which are...
