Help! My new SE/30 is Simisamaced.  It has the vertical lines pattern.  I have removed all of the caps, and cleaned the board. My question is, what caps are needed to boot?  I want to start checking traces before I fix the caps.  I have pulled the video rom and ram and I get the same symptoms...

I just had an idea.  If someone can get the IIsi's NuBus adapter working in the SE/30, you could build a thing that goes on the back and holds the adapter as well as a Radius Rocket.  That would be one blisteringly fast SE/30. Also, you could call it a JetPack for added awesomeness.

If I try to install any version of System 7 on my newly LC520-ified CC, it says it isn't compatible.  I have tried custom install, and that just makes a mess by installing everything.

What symptoms are these?  Wierd. I am considering buying @Alex's SE/30 Board, and I am curious as to what the symptoms are.  BTW:  How many layers is the SE/30 board? Thanks

I have an iBook G3 clamshell with a pop out cd drive that won't stay closed.  It works fine and reads cd's if you hold it or tape it shut, but it won't latch.  Can I have some help fixing it? If not, will anyone sell me a drive for really, really cheap?
