I have Radius Precision color 24x (pro) in it and it runs very well. It is 7” long and it fits perfectly. I have also installed custom rom simm that makes it faster booting, it skips ram check (65 mb).

Did you turned off the GWorld in tests? When I was testing horizon without GWorld it test were nothing special mostly like other cards but when testing with GWorld on some tests were done 600% over others. Setting the GWorld to 2 MB made better results than 4 MB also.
Yes the Quadra 950, 900 and 700 have different boot beep and a picture of "reign of terror" in ROM
With this control panel below you can change the boot beep and also clicking on the v1.3 it opens "regin of terror" picture thats hidden in ROM. Never tried on Q650 tho ...

I think there is a lock for the lamp at the bottom, you need to unlock or something… I had it years ago and I remener that I turned like a coin switch at some side …
