I'm wondering if anyone has done any experimenting with using Airport-shared disks on pre-OS X machines. So far, I've attempt to connect to the base station via AFP in the Mac OS 9 chooser, but an error comes up saying the AFP version is not compatible. I'm wondering if there is a work-around...

Bought a mint condition LaserJet 4100n (only 3k pages!) on eBay last month and couldn't be happier! It's fast! I used a LaserJet 4050 before that. Loved my LaserWriter IIg, but it needed a lot of work.

Nope, it didn't. I'm not fond of remanufactured inks/toners, and they're expensive for that model too...The 360 has been unused for almost a year now - I'm getting rid of it at our garage sale next month. Trashed the toner a while ago.

Yes, that came with AirPort version 2.0.4 (which I installed on Mac OS 9). I believe that was a formal firmware update too, since a lot of people have used that method to convert Lucent WaveLAN Silver cards into Gold cards.
