I have uploaded a copy of the PDF manual onto archive.org where it can be accessed easily.
There is also an option to download a PDF w/ TEXT version which has all the text OCRed.

I had that tool, found it during my freshman year cleaning out old stuff, but then like all things college it got lost in the countless moves. #SADnotSAD
It took me a long time to track an actual copy of the DayStar Turbo 040.
I fully scanned it and OCRed for your pleasure.
This manual is version 3 dated 11-1994. Download it and enjoy!
More scanned manuals coming soon.
Sony D-5 for $3!? That is awesome.
I have a boxed PowerCD & boxed black AppleDesign speakers, that are meant to just go on a shelf and look cool when I get the space again.
The PDF host has been changed to Archive.org : https://archive.org/details/DayStarCatalogJuly1994
I have some more interesting catalogs that I will be putting up soon including a detailed Radius Rocket one.
I bought mine from howfunkel two years ago for $30 shipped via eBay. The cards he was using at the time were Sapphire ones.
If you want to flash your own, here is the guide.
I use a Radeon 7000 in my G3DT and it offers 1900x1200/60hz via VGA. The card is a modified PC card that requires driver installation before use, but once its installed it is quite good.
The OEM Mac card came with half the vram and is rarer.
I think you are referring to the Sony GDM-FW900:
The ATI Cards had support for high resolutions but the only Nubus card that I recall supporting high resolutions (crt hz) was the VillageTronic MP340/Sonnet Sonata Pro 24.
Does the quality of the connectors differ from the established brands compared to the no-name Chinese ones?
The only connector that needs to be up to snuff is the cache one as the horizontal angle could add some stress over time.
