The only thing I was able to find was this picture from a past sale cached on WorthPoint (Looks like an Old StarMax)
I doubt I will ever track one of these 3-Slot Risers down unless I get a whole StarMax and at that point, one has to ask... is it worth it all this effort?
Awesome tips!
There were some reviews that had complaints about lack of 21v support, but for my purposes I only have some SuperMacs and a few DayStars to update. so the plus model might be adequate.
Correct, NuBus PowerMacs need the 3.0 firmware. There was a guy on Amibay selling Spectrum/24 firmware roms a few years back and that was version 3.1
I have a couple of Thunders that need their firmwares updated. Is this a good all-around programer to get? Oh and thanks @Bolle for putting them up.
Basic goop would do the basic trick. Its cheap and functional. Worst case, if you think its too hot, just use something else.
I use the premium stuff on my modern Macs (just re-did some 2012 minis), so I have Kyronaut to spare. I have yet to get a graphite pads.

If you are worried about heat, you can always put on fresh thermal paste for better heat dispersion, and even put a little strip of kapton tape to separate the board from the cache.
Your project is making me want to dig out my PC PCI cards from storage to install in my 4400. Well if/when I...
You have 8.6 on the 4400 and 9.2 on the G3MT, so you can have the best of both worlds. My Beige G3 is primary used as a bridge machine where I make floppies off images, burn CDs, etc.
I don't recall the exact part numbers but I extracted mine off an old ATI PCI card, but you will find numerous
FPM are readily available, this should do the trick : https://www.ebay.com/itm/192472059043
Very nice! That L2 is a thing of beauty!
You are going to end up on a hunt for quite a few upgrades soon, as that G3 be made into a nice classic beast. You can also find the Vram upgrade chips for the PC Card on eBay.
