SoftPivot 3.2.1 only had official support until System 7.5.1. If you can try booting off a disc in 7.1 and soft pivot to see if it works. You can ways get the dedicated nubus card too.
@elemenoh The internal were upgraded to the modern board. I wanted to keep the external look original. :D I got a complete IIgs setup right at the same time so I have not spent enough time with the IIe.
Ecommerce did more to kill the local computer shops than NAFTA which actually increased exports. The old business models were not tenable and manufactures skipped resellers and went direct to consumer. Let's not forget the 800 ton gorilla in the room... Amazon disrupted everything and continues...
Apple has the highest inventory turnover in the computer hardware industry. Basically they move inventory to sales within two weeks. The metrics get hazier with iPhones/iPads.
Lower power, less heat, and longer life... all signs point to YES! Panasonic makes great industrial SD/microSDs. Have been running one in a 840AV for 3 years with no problems, and another in Q700 as well. What you lose in sound, you gain with reliability.

Radius is special indeed. The stuff of my childhood dreams. I have been lucky and have gathered quite a few pieces over the past few years including the later and rarer graphics cards.
The Pivots are nice but bulky. I have a grayscale one but its in storage mode. Picked up a 17" Trinitron one...
If you keep an eye out on eBay you might snatch up a Booster card. I have the Photoshop and SCSI cards.

Kodak killed off their line in 1986. Fujifilm picked up the technology and created what later became Instax. It may not be a useful camera, but a a nice relic of technology from the early 80s.
@mraroid The Acard 6280M card supports OS X and OS 9 boot drives. Acard even advertised it as having 8.5 support. Sonnet sold some rebadged versions of this card in the early 2000s along side their Promise derived ones. In fact Sonnet was selling a lot of rebadged products; their PCI SATA cards...
