    BlueSCSI Questions for Mac Plus

I see a problem in this new log... it says: === Finding images in / === == Opening /HD10_512 20MB.hda? for ID: 1 LUN: 0 ---- Failed to load image Is the name of the image ending with "?" Please note that Apple HD SC will not work with non-Apple drives, and in principle you don't need to use...

Just in case, this is a 20MB formatted image.

    BlueSCSI Questions for Mac Plus

OK, so the BlueSCSI is recognising it properly. I would maybe recommend to format the image with Basilisk. It should then appear in the Plus. If you don't have Basillisk, you can ZIP it and put it here, as compressed should be very small.

    BlueSCSI Questions for Mac Plus

Hi Silvano, For support on BlueSCSI I'd recommend to post in https://tinkerdifferent.com/ as its creators are there. In principle the process is to format with exFat, then create the HDA file with disk jockey with the right name, and then you should be able to format the disk with the Plus, or...

TashIO: Clone of BeeHive Technologies's ADB I/O

Would that include the case? If so that's pretty reasonable, although I'd still prefer a kit and assemble it myself... just to enjoy a bit more the project.

TashIO: Clone of BeeHive Technologies's ADB I/O

Hello. I'd be very interested in a kit, but I'd prefer to know (approx.) the price. I'm in Europe.

    Macintosh Classic Color

Can you boot from a floppy? If you can make the system setup floppies you could at least format the SCSI2SD and install like if it was a regular disk FYI, there are disk emulators such as BlueSCSI, RASCSI or ZuluSCSI that are far more friendly to use than the SCSI2SD. If you could get one of...

Just won a compact Mac on auction!

I don't know exactly what is your model, but typically these bags have two handles made of straps sewed around the bag (I can see that in the photo), and also a shoulder strap, that could still be there if you're lucky.

Oh no, my RaSCSI suddenly stopped working

Yeah, something must be wrong. I’d recommend seeking for support in the discord channel. Or post in thinker different, as I can’t find here @akuker.

Just won a compact Mac on auction!

If it If it includes the keyboard it's really a bargain... even if it doesn't it's a very good price. I paid that for my 512K and it was the bare computer, so I had to get all the rest and it ended up way (way!) higher... But in Europe (and here in Switzerland in particular) we aren't so lucky...

Just won a compact Mac on auction!

Good catch! Well... it could also be a 128K/512K upgraded to a Plus, but, I'd say, there's no way to know. Let us know!

TashIO: Clone of BeeHive Technologies's ADB I/O

Well... Now I'm just triply excited... If someone decides to put together a kit with a pre-programmed PIC, I'd be very interested

ALS 245 fell off IIsi, possible to fix?

It should be possible, unless the legs are too corroded. This is a low cost IC (74ALS245), so not a big deal if finally you have to replace it. Not clear what could be other thing... power regulator?

ALS 245 fell off IIsi, possible to fix?

I think this is a bus driver. You should easily find a replacement.
