Thanks. I sent @Bolle a PM
Actually I just need the simplest possible adapter... I have a RASCSI in the SE/30 and that gives me networking too.
This is the original...
Would bring any benefit combining the Daystar PowerCache with a IIci Cache Card?
I got both in a bundle (still not received and tested) and I wonder if the standalone cache card is really used as the PowerCache is expected also to bring cache.

Hey,
I got a Daystar PowerCache 50 that I was initially thinking to add to a IIci, but now I'm thinking that maybe the SE/30 could be a nicer host.
Does anyone has experience with this?
Where could I find the adapter board?
Is it compatible with the Rominator II?
Thanks!
Yes, you can do that with an external BlueSCSI. Please note that by default the Plus will not power the BlueSCSI and you need to use an usb power supply.
In fact you can make 800k disks with many other macs, as the SuperDrive is also compatible.
I guess the image got corrupted after the crash... There are many versions around of Dark Castle and not all work when running from HD...
2GB is the maximum drive image size you should use to have maximum compatibility with system 6, which is what I'd use with a Plus (i.e. 6.0.8) apart of that...
Did you manage to boot with some other image?
The Plus is quite finicky with the BlueSCSI... and probably won't like having more than one image in the SD.
You can mount the HDA with Basilisk. First thing with an image made with DiskJockey would be to format it from Basilisk.
ROMinator is an special ROM that has some possibilities, such as a ROM disk
if you have one, you'd see a message in your Mac proposing you to boot from the ROM disk, and the happy Mac icon shown at boot changes to a "pirate" Mac
Interesting... how many images you have now in the BlueSCSI? Could it be that some of these images is named "ROM Disk".
The other option I can imagine is that you have a ROMinator in your Plus...
Hello,
the idea is to run Lido in the Plus, so you'd have to copy it to a floppy.
Did you try to reformat the card with a single partition and copy the HDA there?
In one of the rest replies other folk pointed you to some pre-made images that you can use.
The BlueSCSI doesn't work with partitions. You should have a single partition for the whole card and put your HDA files there. Each file will be recognised as a hard disk (or CD).
And as I said, Apple SC HD should not be used.
What happens when you list the SCSI drives with Lido?
