Sorry, but I just can't find any info on PDS termination for 6100. Just for 8100 and 7100. I will give it a try without.

Nothing in the PDS slot, but I doubt there was anything in there. Looks like the pervious owner simply pulled out the drive to ensure their data was safe, then discarded the machine with everything in it, including the OS CD.
