Hey guys! I was poking around on Freecycle and came across an SE/30 20 minutes after it was posted. I called and got it right away... she was happy to have someone take it! Its 40MB HD with 5MB RAM.... but it looks like they used it right up until 2001! They have Excel 3.0 spreadsheets...

How much RAM do you have on your system? If you only have the bare minimum, I wouldn't doubt that some programs would just bounce and not open. Additionally, have you actually copied the programs to your applications folder, or did you just drag them to the dock, then delete the disc image? Bad...

OK, I wonder if it just doesn't have a hard drive at all or something. That seems rather odd. As far as the model numbers go, would that help with identification of the systems? One uses the Lisa mouse for sure, so that must be the original Lisa, then? I will have to plug them back in I guess...

Restoring to 9.1 seems to have solved the problem, so it must be an issue with the "OldWorldSupport" and some drivers there...

Yup, thanks for the advice, but I've done every piece of troubleshooting I can, and narrowed it down to perhaps a driver issue for 9.2.2. I will be reinstalling 9.1 shortly.
