Nice - I've seen a number of classic machines listed as "Mackintosh" or similar. [:D] ]'>

Does LimeWire Come in any Other Flavours?

That's right. I still can't get it to work though.

    Performa 400

Good morning, I am still looking for a colour machine that can run system 6. I've noticed that the Performa 400 is really an LC II wearing a false moustache. Apple's specs say that it cannot run system 6, but then it says that about the LCII as well (yet apparently that model can). I suppose...

Btw IE5 came with my os9 install disc - so that makes it from 2001 or earlier. I couldn't even log in to this wireless point using that because its cookies system was outdated or something. And it's definitely not as speedy as Netscape. Well, not on this machine. [8D]

YAYAY!! Finally! Got a Pro Mouse!

I love it when that happens! Some tart decided to sell a Mac OS 9 CD and an unopened OS X CD together! It went for a bit but I got it back when I sold the unopened OS X. Same with my wireless cards! Yay for dumb sellers! [8D]

Can anyone share the Lunatic Fringe After Dark mod?

I just got After Dark for OS9! The toasters have returned to my Wallstreet! Kind of wish I could show them off in public, but I don't usually leave my computer alone for long enough. [8D] I love it when the toasters do a conga line!!

Does LimeWire Come in any Other Flavours?

So no-one can tell me even one LimeWire server? I think that's all I need, it doesn't come with any servers pre-installed. Tried the official LimeWire client as well, with the same issue.

    A Wallstreet Resurrection

Can you get rid of the screen altogether and plug an external monitor into it? Then it would look like an Amiga. :D Not sure of the point, but it would be cool.

    OS 8.6

The OS9 version of iCab is older than that. It's crap. Netscape works fine. As well as I'd expect it to anyway.

    OS 8.6

iCab is lousy. Netscape for os9 is way better. iCab hasn't been updated in a few years anyway so I doubt it's still being developed.

Loaded BW G3 With OS 9.2 490mb RAM!!!!!

Ooh err! Can I join? I LOVE my wallstreet - use it way more than my Mini nowadays. Well, when it's not having occasional battery issues but I hardly think it's the wallstreet's fault.

    OS 8.6

Yeah it's ridiculous but once you start trying to cut some out, things begin to break. It's a domino effect on os9!

Does LimeWire Come in any Other Flavours?

Bonjour mes petits choux, Does anyone here use the LimeWire client Drumbeat for os9? I've been trying to get it up and running on my Wallstreet but it won't have a bar of it. since it doesn't appear to have instructions, anyone know what to do? I open it, it doesn't connect to anything. Do...

    A Wallstreet Resurrection

Hah, that looked weird when I clicked on the photo of it booting - looked like I was looking through the screen at myself. :) Well done! They're mostly nice, sturdy machines I think - picked up someone's Lenovo Thinkpad yesterday and couldn't believe how flimsy it felt in comparison. I'm...

    OS 8.6

Oh dear, At Ease! I think kids should be allowed to muck around using the real thing. Any kid with a brain will work it out in no time - it's easy to them; same as how kids can easily pick up multiple languages when they're young. P.S. Equill, re: bloat - 9.2.2 seems to run OK once it starts...

    OS 8.6

Yes, I originally hoped to go for the leanest browser possible but naturally hardly anything displays properly on those systems. Couldn't even get through the wireless logon page with my old versions of IE/Netscape. At least the new netscape displays pages properly. But seriously, surely...
