Haha! Yes it's a perfect fit and screen is very crisp. 640x480 in the same 12" form factor with no mods other than gutting the innards of a 12" case, sanding down the screw posts a little and then double side taping it in. + vga adapter of course.

The Mac LC maxes out at 512k VRAM Is this a hardware limitation or noted as there weren't larger single VRAM simms available for the original LC? EG - there's a 768k VRAM simm (labeled for the radius pivot board) dirt cheap on EBAY -&gt...

Raising my hand for 128mb set for my IIFX As Uni mentioned I actually have several working IIFX boards (and by several I think I have three) Two of them reside in mac IIx cases One resides in a (very dirty) IIfx case I'm trying to figure out if best to sell them with or without the cases...

Thanks for the feedback - the amazon version just arrived today and so did the AC / DC adapter. I had the same hesitation on the screen based on the Amazon pictures and listing. But the screen measures very close (using a tape measure here folks) to 8.5w x 6.25h Which is almost perfectly 4:3...
