    Recapping - Current thinking

I should also point out that recapping prices vary widely. Some vendors charge an arm and a leg, others don't.

    Recapping - Current thinking

My understanding is that the SE uses solid caps which are pretty reliable, but the analog board and PSU do use electrolytic. My view is that the SE/30 should be recapped pre-emptively since it seems to be easily damaged from cap goo, same with the Color Classic and Quadra 840av. But overall...

The TempoTrio card is probably the most valuable thing in that purchase. They're sought after.

    PowerPC and Intel macOS Guide

LowEndMac kinda has something like this, but it's not Intel friendly and I don't agree with everything they say. I'll make revisions based on input after this is done. I'll stick with stock machines for now, but I'll mention upgrades (for the purpose of installing later OS's) at the end. This...

How do I get these on a network

Should be able to make a straight LocalTalk serial connection between your PowerBook and the Classic, you'll need a MiniDIN 8 serial cable for kt.

*Almost* Fastest PowerBook ever, and more to go.

It's a one of a kind prototype dual G4 PowerBook, and I believe it had hardware issues that prevented a net connection.

*Almost* Fastest PowerBook ever, and more to go.

Close, so close, but it's not the fastest PowerBook ever, not yet (at least not from a benchmark standpoint). https://68kmla.org/forums/index.php?/topic/21144-haplains-never-ending-quest/?p=263061

Mac Goodies at Silicon Valley Electronics Flea Market

I haven't fixed mine, but I have a Plus with the 128/512k faceplate so I can cheat for demonstrations of "the original Mac". :)

Unless my 128k has been upgraded as well(and I don't believe it has), the top board is all original.

Firefox is dumping 10.6-10.8 very soon. You'll have ESR 45 for a few months, then it's game over. Time to upgrade.

    Fastest NUBUS-Graphics Card?

I mean, it may still be more efficient to use a separate card for all I know, the benefits just won't be as big.

    Fastest NUBUS-Graphics Card?

That's actually incorrect. The 700 has separate VRAM modules. Perhaps you were thinking of the IIci?
