    Developers You Could Do Without!

I agree. RealAudio and RealVideo are excellent codecs for online streaming, but the player itself is just bad. And what's up with this "RealArcade" they keep advertising? Sounds like a desperate attempt to stay relevant, if you ask me.

Games you'd like to see ported to Apple II...

I really wish I could help you out, I really do. But there just doesn't seem to be anyone willing to make Apple II stuff anymore. Oh, I'd do it, all right. It's just that I'm really lazy, and, for the life of me, I can't seem to figure out any kind of programming language, Assembly or otherwise...

    A fictional history of Fantavision

I always thought that this was a pretty neat vector animation program for the Apple II. What do you think would happen if it went on and was still around today instead of Flash? Here's what I think would come about: 1988: Fantavision 2.0 is released. With this version, many other 8 bit...

Games you'd like to see ported to Apple II...

Wow, I didn't know this thread was resurrected. Anyway, here are some more games I'd like to see ported: Yoomp, because it would be pretty cool with a Mockingboard, and any good side-scrolling platformer, such as the James Pond series, or Turrican. Maybe there could also be some 3D...

Got some software someone might need

Well, you see, the good people of the 68kmla don't want to get caught sharing some of this software, especially the Mac OS X versions. Yes, I know it's stupid, but it's the law. Sorry. :(

The Incredible Machine won't open saved contraptions

The version is The Even More Incredible Machine. It was a backup of the game transferred from a zip disk onto my Power Mac G4 Yikes! with a 40 GB Maxtor Hard Drive and Mac OS 9.2.1. Whenever I try to open a saved contraption, It says "This program has unexpectedly quit, because an error of type...

Control strip in a Weird place...

This happened last time when I last had OS 9 on this machine. Now, with what is probably my third semi-permanent installation of OS 9 on my computer, a Power Mac G4/500 Mhz with 320 MB ram and a 40 GB HD, the control strip has mysteriously moved to the middle of the left side of the screen, and...
