Well, I've found issue number two; the pismo seems to be fine with DVDs, but it refuses to do anything with CDs, kinda obliterating my hopes of Jaguar. Has anybody experienced one of these that will read DVDs fine, but not do a damn thing with CDs? It makes no sense to me :?:

Dunno really; I just played with plugging it in, unplugging it, taking the battery out and sticking it back in, and all that good stuff. Eventually, it just randomly booted, and it has been booting happily and regularly since :)

I just got myself a DA G4/466 with 384 megs 'o RAM for $20. Came with the original box and packaging, which is always nifty to get :) Got it to set up for a friend as her first experience with the Mac :)

It boots to the blinking folder. It *really* doesn't seem to want to boot X on 64 megs.

I got really bored today, and tries playing around with stupidly low RAM amounts in my G4 (Gigabit Ethernet, dual 500MHz). It normally has 896 megs of RAM in it and runs 10.5.2 quite happily. Trial 1: 256 megs of RAM. Leopard booted, slowly, and took its time loading in the UI after logging in...

Safaro 3 on my dual 500 G4 running Leopard slowed down a bit, and it floored one of the CPUs every time they laughed :p

All of my ADB keyboards (Apple Design, Apple Keyboard II, and the IIgs keyboard) are all fine. Even the keyboard on my Apple IIc+ is fine. Maybe I'm just lucky :)
