Seems it's a rather fugly clone from Power Computing :)

Mac SE 1/20 is the same as Mac Classic?

First: Does the front of the machine say "Macintosh SE" or "Macintosh SE FDHD"? If it's just SE, then no. If it's SE FDHD, then yes. FIGURE 1: Macintosh SE FIGURE 2: Macintosh SE FDHD Second: As was stated above, it's called PC Exchange. Only the 1.44 floppy drives can read/write PC disks...

    Quicksilver 733mhz

Eh, $100 is a bit much for one of those IMHO. Of course, they are decent machines, even for general use, and can easily run Leopard. If you want a tower that'll give you very-decent-but-not-stellar performance, go for it :)

    Another B&W

    64 megs of RAM + Mac OS X 10.2 = :'( :'( :'( Still, a B&W is always a nice score, especially for free :)

Plus / 512: smiling Mac surrounded by black screen

Wow, that's a new one. Seems that something awful odd is going on there; wish I had more useful info. You say it chugs at the floppy and boots; does it stay on the happy mac screen or go to a desktop?

Desktop G3 - now with topless photos!

That's one of the main uses of my 6500/225; one machine with SCSI, Localtalk, ADB, Ethernet, and USB, plus an OS that can talk to System 6 or X :)

Desktop G3 - now with topless photos!

It's always nice to have one of those 'bridge' machines; enough old portage to talk to the oldest of machines, but enough modern portage to be useful in the modern world. Nice find :)

    6500 ROM Secret

If the TAM and 6500 have nearly the same ROM, then does my 6500 have pr0n sounds hiding in it?

    Java and the 68k Macintosh

I realize this is a bit of a stretch, but does anybody know if there's any Java compiler available for 68k Macs? I love my little compact for writing, and typing up my homework code would be the perfect job for it. Unfortunately, it's rather a bother to type it up, transfer it over, compile, get...

    Macintosh SE :D

Yessiree, an SE has recently come into my possession! I got it from an old family friend. She's an amazing old lady. She lives in the home her grandfather built in 1886. My dad tunes her pianos and we monitor the lake on her property for her. Anywho, seems she got her little SE in '87 and used...

What is your Favorite Compact Mac?

I'm gonna have to say the Classic II. Last of the B&W compacts, it was the second-best compact in most people's eyes. I just love mine to death; such a nifty little machine :)

Awesome; the Classic II is a wonderful little machine. I still have mine on my desk and use it for small little things :)

    Best OS for iMac G3

Poke around craigslist. I got a pressed copy of OS X 10.0.3, along with iMovie 2 for OS X and OS 9 for $20 a while back :) And no offense, but I'm not sharing. I have no need for Apple's legal team to swoop on me. Just pointing out that it's not impossible to find around.

    Tray-loading iMac G3

Better way? Try selling PBG3 batteries for $10 and TAMs for $50; that'd be quite the entrance

    bbcode

Just an FYI, the link in the post writing window that links to how to use bbcode redirects to the main page of the 68kMLA Wiki that has no mention of bbcode whatsoever. I rarely use it, so the few times I do, I used to go to that page. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to exist, and it's not on the...
