CUPS and papd are started at boot. You can access CUPS with a browser on port 631 on localhost. So connect a mouse, keyboard and monitor (TV) to your Rpi3 with MacIPRpi image on it and startup a browser and connect to http://localhost:631

I can launch Chromium in a remote session like XRDP (rdesktop) or X2Go. I will test with monitor and keyboard too. Maybe that is the problem?
However.... There is a setting which prevents a normal screen!! I can solve it and will do in the final version.

Yes. I finally managed to get it working.
I had to fix some permissions as you mentioned. I also had to do some extra installs, like MySQL. I will have a look at my history tonight. I’m on the road now so no access to my MacBook.

I never used it for printing, but would like to find out how it works. I have a Laserprinter and it is cool if I can print on it from my old Macs. So I will look into it.
